Rang in the New Year quietly at home... doing shots of cold medicine... The big party we were going to was cancelled due to the stomach flu. Which was actually okay by me (except for I feel badly for the family with the stomach flu) as we're all fighting nasty colds/sinus things. Andy went out last night and bought blue liquid Tylenol cold medicine. It's good stuff and has made our heads feel incredibly less balloon-like.
Mass this morning started off the New Year in the best way. Now we're just hanging around home playing games... Uno... Spot it!... Candy Land. The game playing keeps the kids' latest hobby...bickering... somewhat at bay. Thank heavens!
